Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Student Immersion Scholarship

The PSATS Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) committee exists to increase Athletic Training scholarship and clinical education opportunities for current and prospective Athletic Trainers from underrepresented and underserved communities.

We are proud to partner with Major League Soccer (MLS) to announce two PSATS DEI and MLS Scholarships to attend a 1-week full immersion experience with participating MLS clubs. This is one of the foremost soccer-specific sports medicine and Athletic Training immersion opportunities in the field and across the country.

PSATS and MLS will award two scholarship recipients a reimbursement for up to $1500 in travel expenses to attend to your 1-week immersion. Applicants must be Athletic Training Students currently enrolled in a CAATE-accredited Athletic Training Program who represents an underrepresented or underserved community.

Please fill out the the application by the Monday, November 30th, 2026 deadline.

We aim for this to be the first of many PSATS DEI and MLS efforts to increase Athletic Training opportunities for underserved and underrepresented communities.
