Position: Certified Athletic Trainer
Position Type: Full-Time
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Athletic Training or dual credentialing as Physical Therapy and Athletic Trainer
- Current BOC certification and state licensure (or eligibility) in Georgia
- Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in elite sport (professional, collegiate, or national team) environments, with 2-3 years of experience working with elite female athletes
- Strong understanding of soccer-specific injuries, workload demands, and recovery strategies
- Strong manual therapy skills
- Must be able to connect “micro” details to the “macro” vision and mission
- Competency in Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook), Electronic Medical Record and Athlete Management Systems
- Demonstrated success in demanding fast-paced environments
- Excellent professionalism, and written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and travel up to 50% time
- Ability to stand for long durations, bend, lift, squat & carry up to 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in professional soccer
- Familiarity with FIFA and US Soccer medical standards
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
