Head Athletic Trainer  Paul Ziemba joined the Fire organization in 2007 as the team’s new Head Athletic Trainer.  Ziemba, a certified Athletic Trainer since graduating from Butler University in 2001 with a B.S. in Education concentrated in Athletic Training, has been a staff member of AthletiCo Rehabilitation, Fitness, and Performance since 2004.  There he helped lead the North Shore Country Day High School Boys Soccer team to Regional Qualifiers in 2006.  Ziemba has served on the training staff of the U.S. Soccer Federation, where he has worked with the Under-16 Girls, Under-18 Boys and Under-20 Men’s teams, assisting at the Youth World Cup Qualifying Tournament in 2007 and at the U.S. Beach World Cup Soccer team in 2006.  Prior to joining the Fire, Ziemba assisted in leading the Cardinal Mooney High School Boys squad in Sarasota, Florida, to the state runner-up finals in 2003.  Ziemba has also worked with various professional teams including the Cincinnati Reds, Toronto Blue Jays, Indianapolis Firebirds, and Philadelphia Phillies.  Ziemba and his wife, Lauren, reside in Round Lake, IL, with their son, Owen.
