Head Athletic Trainer
Josh
is in his 10th season as the Head Athletic Trainer for FC Dallas, after joining the team for the 2002 season.
Watts is a 1999 graduate from John Brown University in Arkansas where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Medicine, with an emphasis in Athletic Training.
Upon obtaining his License, and Certification he went on to be the Head Athletic Trainer at Cistercian Preparatory School for nearly two years. During this time he also split his time in a Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation clinic. In 2001 he served as the Head Athletic Trainer for the Texas Spurs soccer team of the Premier Development League.
He was an inaugural member of the Professional Soccer Athletic Trainers Society (PSATS). Over the past four years he has served as Secretary- Treasure on the PSATS Executive committee
Honors:
Head Athletic Trainer for the 2004 MLS All-Stars verses Fulham FC of the English Premiership
Head Athletic Trainer for the 2010 Generation Adidas team, which toured Spain and played numerous games.
Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his family, participating in church activities, working out, mountain biking, and reading.
