Cecelia Gutierrez
Cecelia Gutierrez, ATC, CMT
A former athletic training intern for the Los Angeles Galaxy, Cecelia enters her second season as the team’s assistant athletic trainer. Prior to working for the Galaxy, she was the head athletic trainer at Leuzinger High School through West Coast Sports Medicine and Team to Win –a non-profit organization that seeks to provide medical insurance to high school athletes and athletic training coverage to economically disadvantaged high schools of the Los Angeles county. She earned her bachelor’s of science degree from San Diego State University where she majored in kinesiology; athletic training and served as a student athletic trainer for SDSU’s football team, the San Diego Sockers of the Men’s Indoor Soccer League, and various teams at the University of California San Diego including soccer, rugby, ice hockey, baseball, and tennis. Cecelia is a new member of PSATS and hopes that this year will serve as a healthy and victorious season for the Los Angeles Galaxy.
