Assistant Certified Athletic Trainer
Bo joined the Fire staff in February 2007 as the team’s Assistant Athletic Trainer. In just two years with AthletiCo Rehabilitation, Fitness, and Performance at their Matteson facility, Leonard has served as Certified Head Athletic Trainer at Hillcrest High School in Country Club Hills, Ill. and also as an interim athletic trainer with the NFL’s Chicago Bears during their successful 2006-2007 season. A native of Des Moines, Iowa, Leonard graduated from Buena Vista University with a Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training and went on to receive his Master of Science in Cardiac Rehabilitation from Eastern Illinois University. While at Eastern, he served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer with the men’s soccer program for two years. Leonard is a member of the National Athletic Trainer’s Association (NATA) and Professional Soccer Athletic Training Society (PSATS).
